The Banner Saga 2 Ending
Mannaharr Chapter 15 The Banner Saga 2 Guide. Post Comment. Prev Walkthrough Chapter 14 Arberrang. Chapter 15 is entirely devoted to the game's ending. You will have to make several choices here, but they will affect neither the following events, nor the game's ending.
Walkthrough overviewWelcome to the walkthrough for The Banner Saga 2, an excellent strategy RPG with a Nordic/Scandanavian flavour. This walkthrough will seek to help you unlock all 42 of the games achievements with as much ease and in as little time as possible.
The game's achievements are broken down as so:- Two achievements for finishing the game on Normal and Hard with one added for finishing the story on Hard without losing a battle.- There will be 11 achievements for getting 3 kills with specific characters/classes though these can be done either in battle or in the Training Tent.- Another 6 will be for visiting each of the Godstones throughout your playthrough. Unlike TBS1, these must be interacted with for the game to continue so they are story related and cannot be missed. The final two story achievements will be for meeting with Meinolf in Arberrang with each lead character of choice over both playthroughs.- Warmonger will see you take part in at least 32 battles in TBS2. Battles in this game, while still plentiful, are fewer in number than the first game and you do not have wars to double up your count.
Therefore, I will be instructing you on the choices needed to ensure you take on every battle possible.- High Spirits, Quartermaster, and Forced March also make a return though they are all much, much easier than the first game. Morale is rarely in any trouble and there are lots of random and scripted events (as well as other opportunities) to increase it. Supplies are also much easier to come by as your Clansmen will occasionally forage for food while you travel thus increasing your supply count for you. Forced March requires you to reach Arberrang within 100 days which is easily doable even if you need to rest a few days at a time to heal and restore morale. I did so quite liberally and still made it with around ten days to spare.- Three new achievements are awarded for having a specific amount of Clansmen, Fighters, and Varl in your caravan. Fighters for the most part are unimportant and the more you have the more supplies are needed per day, so they end up being quite counterproductive.
Clansmen can be turned into Fighters but you need only do this twice in the game and I will instruct you when.- Two achievements are gained by making specific choices with your two leading characters (Rook/Alette and Bolverk). Each response will be listed in the walkthrough so you shouldn't need to worry about these at all.- Two achievements will be for getting kills using the character specific abilities belonging to Dytch/Eirik and Bolverk. Both can be done in the Training Tent, but are just as easily done in real battles.- Two more achievements will be awarded for using the Training Tent specifically. In TBS2, each caravan has a teacher within their Training Tent who will give you specific tasks to perform within different battle scenarios.
Only a couple of these can usually be done at a time, so I will be sure to let you know when and what strategies to employ for them. There is also an achievement for winning a battle in the Training Tent with 6 characters at Rank 10 on Hard.- One achievement will be awarded for destroying 30 barricades which are introduced early in the game. These will be fairly plentiful and are easy to remove.- One achievement will be for winning an early battle against a large force using only Rook. It sounds daunting, but it is very easy to pull off.- One will be for collecting at least 3 rank 10 items. These make appearances often enough in shops and can be bought for 20 renown. Two of these items are given to you, so as long as you buy one you will get the achievement.- The final two achievements will be for fighting the games Sundr, Eyeless.
There is one for seeing Eyeless possess 10 different units and another for killing the Sundr herself. This is only done though if the correct choice is made. Before you start the game if you own The Banner Saga 1, I highly recommend going over the Banner Saga 1 Preparations page to set yourself up as best you can for getting through this game. With that all said and done, let's get into the game!

The Banner Saga 2 is a turn-based RPG inspired by the Norse mythology and a direct sequel to The Banner Saga. Once again, we are taken to a fantastic realm inspired by the Scandinavian myths, where we are given command of a caravan of men and giants trying to survive the end of the world.
The heart of the gameplay are turn-based battles carried out on maps covered with square grid. The combat system is based on simple principles, but it also hides a lot of depth. Mastering the basic rules takes only a while, but the more we play, the more connections and relationships we discover. In addition to fighting battles, players often have to make hard decisions that have a significant impact on the development of the story. The Banner Saga 2 features a beautiful two-dimensional graphic design. T
