This is the story of 'E' Easy Company, 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division from their initial training starting in 1942 to the end of World War II. They parachuted behind enemy lines in the early hours of D-Day in support of the landings at Utah beach, participated in the liberation of Carentan and again parachuted into action during Operation Market Garden. They also liberated a concentration camp and were the first to enter Hitler's mountain retreat in Berchtesgaden.

A fascinating tale of comradeship that is, in the end, a tale of ordinary men who did extraordinary things. I was a little hesitant to watch this miniseries because i'm not too fond of war movies, but this one was amazing! The acting was amazing, as well as the quality of picture. It was made to look like it was back in the 40's. It's not in black and white, but it has that older look. The actors, mostly British, are absolutely amazing.

You really feel like you are there with them participating in the battles, feeling the pain of losing a comrade, and the fear of the battle. It starts with the basic training in Toccoa,Ga, and continues through Normandy, The battle of the Bulge, and Operation Market Garden, among others, as well as the liberation of a concentration camp. If you liked Saving Private Ryan, or even if you didn't, you will definitely love this miniseries!! Once again, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg created a masterpiece!

If you're still reeling from the 54-minutes of pure anticipative doom which, you better sit down. The trailer for episode 2 has arrived and, with it, the ever-inching threat of the.The episode - which, unlike the premiere, has earned itself an adult content warning - promises all the death and drama we've come to expect from the fantasy epic.To begin, the Mother of Dragons faces the man who killed her father - 'Kingslayer' Jaime Lannister - to warn him:'When I was a child, my brother would tell me a bedtime story about the man who murdered our father, and all the things we would do to that man.' Though the soul-searching Lannister is unlikely to be pardoned, scenes showing Sansa and Daenerys telling each other they never should have trusted Cersei suggest Jaime had done the honourable thing and warned them of his sister/former lover/baby mama's evil plots on arrival.
