Ninja Gaiden Shadow For Gameboy

In contrast to the variety of ninja arts and power-ups available in the NES games, Ryu only has a basic sword attack and a Fire Wheel attack that can be replenished for up to five uses. While Ryu cannot stick to or climb walls like in the NES games, he can hang onto railings and move underneath them like in, and use both his sword attack and the Fire Wheel art while hanging onto railings.
Unique to this installment, is Ryu being equipped with a that allows him to latch onto hard-to-reach railings. Now this is interesting .. a Ninja Gaiden game that was going to be a Shadow of the Ninja game. Need proof? The latter's final boss theme is in it and it was programmed by Natsume — not Tecmo.
Sound Test
Enable Game Genie code 089-CEE-E6A after entering the sound test (see below) then exit the sound test. This will enable a set of numbers at the top; allowing you to enter any stage and screen in the game.
Check for other wounds. If there is no bleeding and the cut ( laceration) or scrape (abrasion) appears minor, try cleaning the wound. Cute cat cut rope around the world.
Debug Mode
GameShark code 010801C0 will start the game in a debug menu which offers some CHR viewers, a sound test, and a stage select. START returns you to the title screen, and A selects one of the menu options. Text for the debug menu is located at 0x172CF.
Some extra steps are required if the menu is accessed on real hardware:
- Enter the code in the cheating device, but have the switch OFF.
- Start the game and enter into the sound test.
- Turn the cheat device's switch on. The menu's pointer will appear.
- Press B to refresh the screen, then turn the device back off.
